Explore 155 miles of stunning landscape, predominantly in the Peak District, on this NEW Long Distance Walking Route.
Launched in 2022, the Peak Way is now a well established walk with hikers from throughout the UK being joined by international hikers.
The Route starts and finishes in Stockport which is just a few miles outside the Peak District National Park. Stockport has local, national and international transport links and so this start and finish point is a huge benefit for walkers from throughout the UK and overseas. This will also help to reduce the environmental impact on the Peak District which is currently a major issue.
The route has been carefully planned to include some of the best views in the Peak District, and features gritstone edges and moorland, beautiful dales, many historical features, picturesque villages, country pubs and unique places to enjoy a snack or a meal. Another great advantage is that there is a range of accommodation at, or close to, the start and finish points for each section.

Peak Way Challenge
The Peak Way Challenge is an exciting new walking challenge that aims to get more families out exploring the countryside together.
It is based around this trail and is promoted through participating schools, charities, and other organisations, and offers a special sponsorship pack comprising a 40 page
sponsorship booklet and a copy of the Peak Way Guide Book.
